I live in a studio apartment in downtown Tulsa. On the weekdays, when my alarm goes off at 7:15am, I hear the honking of cars and blasting of driving-to-work jams out my window. It's bustling, it's busy, it tells me, "Get your day started!" And I love it.
But on Saturday mornings, the noises outside of my window calm. There's the occasional car that drives by off the highway, maybe coming downtown for brunch. There are church bells that ring on the hour. I sleep in WAY past 7:15am and my weekend usually starts with a few cups of coffee and the Morning Acoustic playlist on Spotify. Slow. Steady. Relaxed. And I love it. (Actually, I'm kind of weirdly obsessed with it.)
I love routine and tradition. I love mornings. I love love. So I'm doing something before wedding season kicks in...
saturday morning sessions
Documenting Slow Life At Home. The whole point of these sessions is to document what your lazy day routines look like. To get photos of you and your loved ones doing those "mundane" activities that make up your days. Dancing in the kitchen. Eating breakfast. Snuggling on the couch. Where you are and what you do with your day matters. I want to record it for you.
These sessions are all about real life. There's no right way to do them, there's no expectations for "cool" activities or a "Pinterest-worthy" morning. It's all about you. It's all about what you do with your Saturday mornings, surrounded by your favorite people.
Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." - Vincent Van Gogh
